Second-hand

I don't mind buying second-hand books.

In fact, I prefer hunting on thrift stores and book sales over commercial bookstores. Aside from getting it for a cheaper price and its lovely smell, second-hand books have their own personalities.

This book, for instance, has some teeth marks on its cover and coffee spill on some of its pages. Maybe, its owner before is a writer or a student who likes to work late at night.

Second-hand books do not only tell the story printed on its pages. Every crease, every stain, every fold and writing left on the book allows us to take a glimpse on the life of its prior owner.
