Ornamental Kale

This ornamental kale is planted in a pot on our front porch along with an ornamental grass and an ornamental cabbage. I guess that makes it an ornamental arrangement! I wonder if the plain-Jane kales and grasses and cabbages ever get jealous? Well, if nothing else this planting is certainly colorful and helps brighten up the long dull winter days. They say we are to have some snow this weekend. I'm actually looking forward to it as long as we don't get too much. A soft white blanket of snow coating everything would be a nice change from all the grayness and rain that's our usual weather pattern this time of the year.
