A picture of a picture, cheating I know

This is the dome of Mitchell Library under construction in 1909.
I have always loved the building and today I learnt a bit more about it whilst wandering the halls. My boy's nursery is just around the corner so I sometimes have a few hours to kill in there. Some of the interior is wonderfully 1970s with lavish floors and carpets which always remind of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining.
