Superstitious

I don't really consider myself to be a superstitious person, although I do believe in karma.

Niggly little things kept happening to me today for example I forgot to wash the conditioner out of my hair this morning and didn't realise this until I started to blow dry it.

Now it could easily be put down to being Friday 13th or then again maybe it was down to a restless night's sleep and getting up 10 minutes after I intended.

A month ago, I didn't think twice about booking a hair appointment for today, but after all the silly little annoying things that happened today I was beginning to wonder what would go wrong, however I'm pleased to say all went well.

I've been reading this gripping novel this week, a choice I questioned when Mr G announced he was going away for a few days. The last thing I needed is to be spooked and on my own. However I've enjoyed the story so much, I took it with me to the hairdresser's and have just had to finish it after dinner.

Superbly written and highly recommended. I'm going to get some of the books the author recommends including collected ghost stories by M.R James and The Woman in Black by Susan Hill.
