Boys love fire!!!

For Arts Week Gulliver's school were asked to collect 5 things connected to school and put them in a box which would then be set alight but not burnt entirely and then constructed into a hanging structure to pay homage to the work of Cornelia Parker!
Cool! The boys were so excited!!!!!!!
Each boy got to place his box on a pile of bricks and then we we went behind a barrier as teachers and parents set them alight!
Gulli's contained a bookbag, socks, homework and school newsletter!
They were in their element!

Tonight my brother in law Conal and my sister Alexandra, partner Jon and daughter Thea and Lola are staying the night!

I lost another lb ;-)
