The Boathouse

Another day in which it was good to be alive. Even brighter than yesterday, sun, blue sky and no wind.... perfect for a wee walk around Rouken Glen. And the reflections on the pond were as good as I have seen.

Interesting event tonight. Twenty five years ago we were involved in the setting up of a walking club in the town. We were both on the steering committee, and Mr. S became president while I was secretary. It was a terrific adventure with like minded people. We learned as we went along, and had great fun doing it. Tonight is the 25th anniversary, and we are invited as VIP guests. Looking forward to it and to all the tales of the first days of the club. Should be fun!........and we're still walking!!!!
