Taking Care Of One's Teeth

Like horses, donkeys have constantly growing teeth and abrade approximately 2mm of their tooth substance each year . To help them, the donkeys in Bremen's Bürgerpark were given a whole tree to chew the bark off. For some reason it's always the jenny I see busy at the log, while the male watches her from the shelter.

It's raining again- what a winter! Wearing wellies in January feels strange, but we're literally wading in mud here. ;-) Mustn't grumble... Have a lovely time!
