Mist curls through the Avon Valley
Took this photo first thing this morning from our attic window as the mist rose from the Avon valley. Occasionally the mist will fill the valley so completely that you can only see the tops of the hills from our vantage point. Alas, this hasn't happened since I've been back, and it's only got another 2 days to do so before I fly back to Edinburgh.
After failing to rouse any interest in a walk from the handful of friends I've got left in Bath, I cycled to my Grandparents house along the canal and went for a walk with them. My Gran, on hearing I was coming baked me a tray of flapjack; most likely as I was surprised to find her out of stock at christmas! Flapjack and my Gran go hand in hand, there always seemed to be an inexhaustible supply when we went over as children.
True to form, an early blip meant that I took a load of photos after that would have been as good (better?) - my favourites are up on the blog - got up close and personal with a willing kestrel at one point!
