Forty Fives

Part of the stepfather's legacy. He died two years ago and left some curious items including an old bellows camera, a brass microscope and this collection of weird old 45s.

He was a real character. He once told me that his father used to discipline their pet budgies when they fought by hitting them with a wet lettuce leaf, and also muttered the immortal words "of course, they don't have any history in Spain".

You had to be there. I do miss him.
