Nanopod
A few months ago I received an email from Apple to tell me that my ancient 1st generation, 1GB iPod nano may have had a battery defect and that, if I sent it to them, they'd replace it free of charge. I was dubious, but the thing was broken and I had nothing to lose. Two days ago this arrived in the post. A brand new, 8GB, 6th generation, touchscreen iPod nano.... How's that for customer service?!
The fact that I don't actually need a new iPod is irrelevant, but it's nice to know that Apple can look after their customers :)
In other news, today I cycled to the stables in jodhpurs and wellies, complete with a schooling whip in hand. Received some very funny looks, must have seemed like some poor pony-starved child pretending to canter along on my muddy red mountain bike. Just in case you'd like to know, my bike behaved beautifully and I didn't need to use the whip once :P
