Play is the highest form of research
We met up with some other local 'home-edders' friends down on the beach after lunch today, as we wanted to collect more 'things' for the craft workshop that we are all attending next week.
It ended up with us two Mums strolling up and down the beach, chatting away doing all the collecting while the four children decided it was more exciting to run off and build a sand fort!! Unfortunately, they built it a little too close to the waters edge and it didn't take the tide too long to come crashing in, flooding parts of it. They live and learn.
