Continuing my Middle Eastern cuisine education today, I cooked Shorbet Adds bil Hamud. I am excited about these new ways to use known flavors, including mint and lemon.

And thank the Good Lord for Le Creuset pots; I've had very good luck slowly cooking bean dishes in them without burning the vessel, even if I forget to check on them for a while. :-)
