Hulk

I was trying to find a great blue heron that someone had reported in Kirkwall. It would be only the second recorded in the UK. The foreshore it had been seen on was empty and, later on, I tried the nearest fields which are around Muddiesdale, and then back to the foreshore for low tide. A few people had gathered again and a grey heron was seen, then it was chased off by a larger heron..which some thought the great blue. I got a couple of blurry shots and someone else got better and I don't think they are of a great blue heron.
