A fast running Leven

Anyone who doubts that this is the second fastest running river in Scotland should have been with me today.
The river Leven is deadly and the currents underwater are even faster.
Many a poor soul has found this out to their demise.
I doubt if I would be safe to come down here in the summer as it is quaintly known as the sun lounge
