Rain - the breakfast of champions

Note to self:
Rejoicing at the dryness of the weather when opening the curtains at 6.45am and declaring a bit too brightly that "so far we've been very lucky with the weather for the cycle to the station" was perhaps not the best of moves.

This is after all Ireland.
