Healthy lunch....

Some of yesterdays (eventually baked) bread toasted...a slice without rustic pussy pawprints I hasten to add....and some home-made hummus, recipe follows:
400g (ish) can of chick peas, drained
2 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
I tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
juice and grated rind of a lemon
salt and pepper to taste
Whizz all the above up in a blender
add enough olive oil until you get a consistency that suits you (but I usually add a tablespoon of toasted sesame oil first for that added sesame hit!)
Probably not advisable if you're going to be doing any kissing later......
