History

4.5 billion years of it in one photograph.

From the bottom up:

Dumbiedykes estate - 50 years old
The Old Town - a few hundred years old (most of it knocked or burned down and rebuilt)
Edinburgh Castle - oldest part 900 years old
The Moon - 4.5 billion years old

I nipped off at lunchtime to take part in this, a protest about the cuts the Scottish Government have made to active travel. The Scottish Government remain committed to active transport through the medium of telling people to walk and cycle more whilst cutting the budget for that and increasing the budget for road building.

Right.
