Off with his head!

My uncle likes to give unusual presents, and this year was no exception!

This is an art deco marquetry plaque showing a woman playing bilboquet with a man's head instead of a ball! Usually, a hard wood ball, with a hole drilled in it for a spike, is attached to a wooden stem by cord. The stem has a spike at one end and a cup at the other. The player holds the stem in their right hand and jerks the ball up and catches it either in the cup or on the spike.

I can't decide if I like this or not! At this precise moment in time I'm leaning towards not!
