Book club

Number 4 on my 'forty before 40' list is to read the last twelve books from The Guardian book club list, in order, so one a month. This may seem a bit random, but I wanted to follow a list to make me read more - I read lots every single day in my work but haven't been devoting enough time to reading for pleasure lately and I want all that to change. Have ordered all of the books from Oxfam and 7 of the 12 arrived today in the post. Those I am still waiting for are:

9. American Gods, Neil Gaiman
10. Cold Mountain, Charles Frazier
12. Middlesex, Jeffrey Eugenides

So, I will be starting Small Island today.
