Childhood Memories Day 10

These are the very first pair of shoes that I had. Mum gave them to me awhile ago now, but I have always kept them safe.

The money box pig was given to me by my Nanny Elsie. I was desperate one day to get the 50p that was inside out to spend it. The hole at the bottom of the pig isn't big enough to get the money out so you had to put your finger in and slide it out the way it came in. I was trying to be really quick and lost patients with it so smashed the pig. I felt bad straight away, kept all the pieces and glued them back together. One piece (which is safety inside the pig) refuses to stick, like a reminder of my impatience.
