Life on the Good Intent

Turn Left for Dragonflies

Oh the frustrations of our climate - did my chores early and waited for a break in grey murk.
Patch of blue sky appeared and I picked up my coat and camera only to find it was raining, that soft Scottish rain that soaks you in minutes and seeps into your precious camera!

Put the kettle on instead and waited for the rain to stop. Was going stir crazy so went to the country park to see what had happened in the storm last week - a sad sight. Rhododendron in bloom already and buds on the azaleas so signs of spring.

had to resort to using the pop up flash on my camera got some interesting effects but still mostly dull photos.
One of my favourite parts of the park is the pond that teems with life but today it is a sad mess - flooded, muddy and the bullrushes broken by the wind but the signpost lit up nicely in the flash so left for dragonflies and right for mushrooms! Although the whole park is a fungi foragers paradise in autumn!
