Day 10 - Childhood memory

I have been working from a nearby Frankie and Benny's today which gave me the chance to go to the place of my childhood memory to take this shot. I have just popped home to let the dogs out so thought I would post now....

When we were little my mum took us to the local outdoor pool. We went every day of the summer holidays when the weather was good. We would meet my mum's best friend and her three daughters, and of course all our other friends who were down there. It has now been knocked down as has the massive indoor pool that was attached to it - the local pool is now in the Snow Dome, which I am sure most of you have been to or have heard of as people come from miles to go there!

The Blip today is of an Anya Hindmarch bag that Simon had made for me with a photo of me on it - I am at the outdoor pool on it approx in the same place as I was today. You can see on today's photo the raised area from where all the lads could watch the girls :)

I now keep this bag in a framed shadow box as it brings back lovely memories of running round in pants, eating picnic by the pool :)

How simple life was then :)
