Bottoms up
Okay, as days go this had to have been one of the better ones even if it is TeeJay's last full day here but blip wise it was not working for me.
We started off the morning on the pier multi tasking by searching for dolphins with cameras ready and eating raisin toast and coffee - after a fruitless search, of the dolphins that is - not the toast, we hit the shops and gave them a fair walloping to the point that we nearly lost the light for finding a suitable blip for the day.
I took TeeJay to Balyang - a local reserve - and while she went off to capture the noisy cockatoos - I took up the challenge of getting a shot of a duck. This proved harder than I thought as they wouldn't stand still - one tried to eat my car and the others waddled off in all directions.
Even the duck that was sitting still on the log in the middle of the lake - a classic blip and one that looked great on the camera screen turned out to be not in focus. The only shot I have that is in reasonable focus is the one you see.
I have no words for it really.
