Lots of activity!

The university campus is feeling very vibrant (i.e. noisy and dusty!) with lots of work going on around the central building of the James Hight - where the main library is.

New cafes going in, new outdoor seating, some things I can't identify but look exciting (the boxing) and all the windows being replaced with double glazed ones. The old ones looking sad all piled up. I guess the deadline is early Feb with (fingers crossed) lots of new students to the campus. The earthquakes will definitely impact the international numbers but with the excellent and generous new scholarships offered to a huge population of domestic students (check them out) hopefully we will have a good number of new enrolments.
