Aftermath

Epilogue from "T" central.

The rubbish strewn campsite and the detritis abandoned by the T goers as they dragged themselves off homeward, gave the youngsters some amusement. Racing abandoned prams down ramps and collecting sledges and fold up chairs. But imagine their wee eyes as this lay over the fence at the roadside.
Despite their intial ideas of selling it on ebay, the adult discussion turned to handing it in to the police station. This being closed, the police made a spectacular entrance to the street, causing many a curtain to twitch. The pre-pubescent PC, gladly accepted this prize as I meekly handed it over, saying it was quite a nice DSLR, Minolta. His mouthed dropped open as he informed me it had just been reported stolen!
It had obviously been slung over the fence to be collected later. Unlucky for the thief and lucky for the owner, the boys happened along.
