We got a first timer over here

Miles had a couple of firsts today.

It was his first time being excluded from school (due to a fever). After a quick trip to an already scheduled dr appt we found he has, yet again, a double ear infection. Poor little guy.

And tonight we are officially calling it (after many close calls)...he took his first steps!!! He stood up, took 4 steps and stopped, stood for a few more seconds before he gracefully went back to crawling. We haven't called his previous attempts his first steps yet because they were so unsteady and he ended up falling. Yesterday he took a few tiny steps while skyping with Nana, but he fell to the finish so it didn't really count.

We are so proud of him :)

Here is a pic of Miles and I cuddling this afternoon before the dr appt. The only good thing about a baby who doesn't feel well? He actually wants to cuddle!
