White Roses
I had a really busy day today which was a pity in a way as the weather was beautiful, one of those crisp sunny days ( well not in Argyll but it was when we reached Balloch )
The button side of my accordion was causing problems so I had to deliver my accordion to a lovely old man who repairs them. Following directions from a phone call with only a few wrong turnings we found him in the middle of Bearsden, spent some time in his workshop as he took it apart. Hard to believe that after 45 years this accordion was in pristine condition inside apart from some loose reeds. It will take some time to repair so we will have the pleasure of finding our way back through the maze of streets that is Bearsden.
Then off to Clydebank to buy a birthday present for our daughter. Then a re trace of our journey back through Duntocher and out the Drymen Road to Killearn and onward to Balfron. A beautiful journey followed by quite a few cars so it wasn't possible to stop on the narrow country roads for a blip ; a great pity as the scenery was beautiful.
A very happy time spent with the family then on the road again back up the Rest and home. By 9 0'clock I had time to get out the camera, set up some of the roses in a vase , throw arrange a suitable backdrop , fiddle about with lights and get today's blip.
Some of you might think it is a bit dark / moody but it was the effect I was after. Any advice will be gratefully accepted .
Hope you all had a good day.
