Photo 9 #366photos: Papercutting
9 January 2012
Today's photo was meant to reflect the Olympics. Today has been dominated by the London 2012. I have been updating my work website about the Olympics. There are numerous news articles on the lasting legacy and the minister's conference there. And the countdown clock says there are only 200 days left until the greatest show on earth. I wanted to take a photo of the countdown sign on the BT Tower but tonight the sign wasn't play ball. I can't actually remember the last time I saw the countdown sign on the BT Tower - perhaps it has gone now?
So, I went into a bit of a panic trying to find a photo this evening.
And just as I was settling into make a paper cut, it came to me. My photo should be capturing the excitement I have before I start to make a paper cut. It's my new hobby and I'm really enjoying it. I find it really therapeutic and creative.
I'm making an engagement card so I can't reveal anything yet, so this is a 'before' shot, getting the tools in place and a little glimpse of my design.
