No parking

This was the street I worked in today, it took me ages to manoeuvre my van into the drive and even then it was overhanging the small pavement but I reckoned I could have driven my van through the space left. Half an hour later I heard a car horn, and yes you've guessed - someone who can't judge spaces, so with the some difficulty I got the van out to let the car past and then reversed back into the space. Later in the day I watched a van the same as my own pass through the same space!!!!!!

The road is 2:30m wide, wall to wall.
