playing
I love watching Miss pink play at the moment. She weaves such wonderful stories with her different characters. It doesn't matter if it's Peppa or Iggle Piggle - they all get along in Miss Pink's stories. Today the piggies were going for a trip out in the camper van. They had a little sleep under Makka Pakka's blanket. Then they went to the Doll's house to play.
We had a great morning this morning at Edward Bear - the baby and toddler group at the church. Miss Pink was really enjoying herself. We made playdough cakes, and pizza, and did some drawing. Miss Pink grew very attached to the spotty dog on a string. Poor Miss Pink didn't understand that the doggy didn't belong to her exclusively and was most put out when another child wanted to play with it. After we'd tried off the tears we returned tot he hall for singing. It was fab, and Miss Pink had a brilliant time. I haven't seen her joining in with singing like that for a long time. We also learnt some new songs, zooooooom zoom zoom...we're flying to the moon....
In other news, Master Pink has turned our lounge into the year one classroom again. We have every possible piece of classroom equipment needed - golden timeladder, colour coded book area, ERR words, and a vocabulary wall. I also have a library's worth of books on my dining table, that have been sorted into difficulty level.....yey!
