Bear With....
Its those tulips again but this time I wasn't being lazy but was playing with my new lens with its twiddly manual focus thing :) I think I managed to get the bits in focus I wanted to....just about :)
All back to normal in the office. Once again people and chatter and the sound of work being done. Its the start of our long grind to the end of the year in March. Time to get the head down and chase those targets. Deep joy:) Mind you it does motivate you and give you something to aim for.
I was really ticked off to learn through the office grapevine that someone we "know" and used to see on a regular basis had been found guilty of being a benefit cheat to the tune of a 5 figure sum. This person was claiming several benefits including housing benefit but had moved to a swanky sea front apartment in the summer. Never judge a book by its cover. It makes my blood boil.
More so when I think of a "family" member who after working long and hard but being rendered unable to work due to a terminal illness has struggled to get anything at all and has been subjected to numerous phonecalls checking up on him and has had benefit stopped when other agencies failed to do the paperwork to confirm his illness in a timely fashion.
Anyhoo - thats Monday done :) Bring on Tuesday
