Hoober Observatory

This is a small observatory just across the road from Hoober Stand, which I've included in this blog before, less than two miles from my home. Stupidly, I paid too much attention to the weather this morning, which suggested that going to the Peak District today would be a bad idea. So of course, sunset this morning was stunning.

I'll try again tomorrow, which is supposed to be better than today. Think I'll pack my waders and waterproofs.
