Portobello Blues
It used to be a Monday morning ritual to walk down to the market and back, but I haven't had time in ages.
Today I just drove down at lunchtime for an hour.
The bass player was my first candid snap. I just caught up with him later by accident, liking that he was standing in front of a poster about homelessness. It seemed fitting.
There's a music stall on the corner of Portobello and Elgin Crescent run by a guy called Jake. I stood there for a while listening to Donald Byrd watching the world go by.
