Death Ray

Ah, the fallen soldier at the window frame of the Death Ray. Obviously overcome by the heat, whilst her buddy looks over her corpse.

Or, it could just be one very warm window and fatty took all the available light and the other couldn't lie down.

Or, it could be fatty in the other cat's favourite spot and what you are seeing here is one fat warm cat, and one slightly miffed white cat.

An interesting aside from a couple of nights ago, Sophie (the fat one) got onto one of the foot stools near my wife and sat there next to Sasha (the white one). Sophie has been following the social cues of the other two on how to be a friendlier cat, not that she's unfriendly in the slightest. After a few minutes ago, Sasha turned round, bopped Sophie on the head a few times, bit her in the neck, yelled and hissed a bit, bit her again, and ran off.

In retaliation, Sophie did nothing. Not even taking it on board. Totally nonchalant about the violence just inflicted on her.

Our only conclusion is that Sophie being a stray many years ago has been in much worse fights, with proper cats, rather than lounge cats, and she also knows that she'll kick Sasha across the room if she had to, which she has in the past.

However, it does explain why Sophie has the occasional scratch on her neck though.
