I've got a chainsaw...

I was going to go out walking today but decided to cancel as I wanted to make a start with removing the tree (I gave the council 2 days).

Three of my very lovely neighbours joined me and 2.5hours, two saws, one very scary electric chainsaw, a lot of sweeping and a fair smidge of lifting later, the tree was cut up and safely stored, ready to be taken to the recycling centre.

Marvellous.
