in between....

That place of in between... she's still very much my little girl, on the verge of growing up, but more and more often she is very much not a little girl anymore at all.

She was in between homework assignments, this last day of holiday; having finished the maths, she needed a self-portrait for her photography class and was asking for help with my camera. This was one of the 'does this work?' test shots.... and my inspiration for the day.

My only other blip-op was a landscape - snow covered mountains in the distance glimpsed while on a short (and quite chilly) ride on the motos with my hubby.... and even if I hadn't forgotten the camera at home, there would have been no contest between that stunning image and this one.
