Watching

A few years ago a derelict barn at Chesworth Farm (where we sometimes walk the dog) was renovated and turned into an art studio. While passing by I noticed that somebody had been doodling in the masonry between the stones - probably when the building was renovated - and I was rather taken with these eyes(?). Adjacent to the barn is Chesworth House, one time home of Catherine Howard, fifth wife of Henry VIII and allegedly the site of her "liaisons" with her music teacher. Henry was none too chuffed when he found out that the music teacher was one of many "special friends" and this eventually led to him separating from her and her separating from her head.
