Tree and sky
OK so not a very imaginative title I agree but couldn't think of anything witty! It was a beautiful morning with sunshine and very little wind. Perfect for going out. Shame then that I had a commitment to play the organ at church!
With dusk still coming quite early there was no point in planning on going far afterwards so decided to call in on the common on the way home. I really must try and get down here regularly this year. Perhaps take some shots of the same views as the year develops. It is a lovely amenity for the town and it was the first day that I've really noticed the birds singing for quite a while.
Was quite pleased with some of the shots and there were several I nearly chose as the blip but this one just struck me as having something. Here are some of the rejected shots for you to make your own mind up!
A big Suffolk sky.
Church through the trees.
Branch tracery - a bonus of winter.
Emerald green moss - it really WAS this colour.
Great Tit in the woods - a bit gloomy for the blip I thought.
This would have been the blip if the head had been in view!
