Happy Birthday

Today is David Bowie's 65Th birthday.
The day he can draw his state pension.
I have always been a soul and blues fan at heart, right since I bought my first single, which was Lee Dorsey singing Holy Cow.
But I can honestly say that hearing Ziggy Stardust for the first time, really changed my life.
It made me realise that a much wider spectrum of music was out there. I mean I knew there was, but that album made me want to go and check out all sorts of stuff, and made my record collection quite eclectic.
His fashion sense, style, made me adventurous to say the least, and at the time I was in the army in Germany, so I stood out a bit. But to give my army colleagues their due, they let me get on with it.
So, anyway, here is my collection of Bowie c.d's. Even though he hasn't made really great one since Let's Dance, I still have them all.
Happy Birthday and thanks.
