took the kids off to a wigwam

our french visitor was thinking a bit more cowboys and indians than we could manage but it was excellent

arrived in brilliant sunshine, walked through the woods to the beach, skimmed stones, bbq'd some of the best bacon i've tasted, managed to build a respectable bonfire and watched the kids playing football in the sun til 10pm.
