Rubbish day at work

At 5 I stop, out run
my demon, exercised up Arthur's Seat.

On the top I stand still complete,
contemplate this seventeen year's city
soon to depart.

An angel fallen as a man dropped, winged back sun angles at his elbows
Another, dark eyes, catches my ears
A girl sharp as an eagle soars on the poise

Summer rain hits, hiss-singing
Beats life into my limbs
I run loose and free,
head tipped back laughing to catch the sky
