Everyday Stump

So I was reading a photography website last night, which said that you should sit and look at your surroundings for a little while and plan what you are going to take a photo of.

Now I didn't quite do that, but this tree stump has been in our yard since we moved in a year and a half ago and I have not thought much of it, until this afternoon.

At the moment I am trying to take photos of nearly anything just to see what they can be made into. You never know, the most random photo could be the best!
