Mule Deer
Mule deer are called such because their ears are as large as a mule. This was the dominate buck of the herd of about 10 animals. There was a smaller buck and had it been breeding season he would not be tolerated especially since there were does amoung them. They were feeding in the yard of an abandonded farmstead.
