A reminder of beautiful geography

Took advantage of the great weather and drove to Kananskis for part of the day.

The drive there is always inspiring as the Rockies get bigger and bigger until you find yourself right in their midst.

The scenery here is truly magnificent. At this point we're at about 5000ft and looking West across one of the lakes on the Kananskis river towards the BC border.

The dearth of snow is quite striking although it appears the ski resorts have had a a decent dump of recently
