Blue Fish

We had lunch today in one of Glasgow's favourite institutions - Cafe Gandolfi in the Merchant City. It never fails to please. The staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The furniture and decor is truly unique. And the food is always great. I had curried smoke haddock with mint rice and prawn bahjis, followed by clootie dumpling with butterscotch sauce. And a wonderful New Zealand sauvingon blanc that really did taste of gooseberries.

Anyone who has been there will recognise the blue fish from the stained glass in the front window.

This was a birthday treat, for which thank you!
