Maddy stayed with Sam, Alex and Chloe last night so we have Chloe staying tonight.

I've had a couple of days cooking. A sourdough cake last night, Sourdough bread today, and this evening I made the basis for a Heston Blumenthal Chilli for tomorrow's dinner. It's mostly done but there's very little spice in it so far, just two green chilies so far. Tomorrow before we finish it I make a spiced butter with Tomato ketchup, worcester sauce, marmite and a warm olive oil mixture with Cumin, Paprika and Cayenne pepper through iut and mix that in. That should give it some kick as at the moment it tastes like a really nice, but very, very mild chilli.

If anyone's interested I'll post the recipe tomorrow.

we also had Dave and Sarah out to visit tonight which was nice.
