Sweet Child of Mine

Someone to watch over you

This is next door's cat with Rebecca. He visits us a lot and decided to meet the newest edition to our family today.

We went out to the sports centre today. It's right across the road from Planet Zoom, the soft play that I take Elizabeth to. She spotted it and got upset because she wanted to go there instead of wherever I was taking her. The grumpiness stopped as soon as she spotted her daddy. He had just finished Aikido and all the mats were out, so Elizabeth started running around and diving onto the crash mat.

Jeff then took her swimming. Next time we'll take Rebecca, but we didn't have any swimming nappies for her today.

Rebecca and I sat in the cafe.I had a hot chocolate and read my kindle for a bit, then she decided that it was her lunchtime. I've fed her far more times in public than I ever did with Elizabeth. Probably because it was easier to stay in and hide with Elizabeth. Can't do that when you have a toddler to entertain too! I really don't mind. Although sometimes it's hard to get comfortable. I use a cushion at home, which I don't have when I'm out and about. We manage though.

When walking around the cafe area with Rebecca, I spotted a flyer for a Model and Toy Expo in Snetterton, which wasn't far from us. So we decided to have a look.

At the door to greet us was a giant dinosaur. And we spotted a park to our right, which we skipped today because it was a bit late and cold, but we will make use of at a later date.

Inside there were toys to play with, demonstration models to watch and loads and loads of toys! It was fascinating! There's also a garden centre attached, a cafe with a play area and other shops that we didn't have time to look in. You could spend a whole day there.

It was a very successful day!
