Middleton Hunt
They 'met' in Bishop Wilton this morning, it was a very small field, only 60* horses, I imagine the recent rains will have put a lot of people off -it is very hilly round here so very slippy, they don't want to take risks with either themselves or their horses...neither would I.
At the end of the day their were lost hounds all over the village...about 7 couple, the huntsman was still riding around trying to call them in well into the dark.
* Garrowby Meets normally command 100 to 120 as the land is so good and you don't otherwise get to ride on it.
This picture is taken just down hill from Givendale, behind Hodgsons wood.
