Yesterday the boiler started to whistle ............ loudly.
Then switched off.

I got up this morning and the boiler was running.

I didn't cancel the engineer we had contacted as there is obviously a fault.

He arrived and diagnosed a knackered fan.
A new one has been ordered and should be here next week (I will not hold my breath).

About 5pm ..................... the boiler shut off.

No1 son and his woman headed off back down south.
Instead of taking some of his junk - he actually managed to forget stuff.
I think I will just take everything to the recycling yard --- he obviously doesn't want it.
