Dawn on Lindisfarne
The second day of the photo workshop saw me respond joyfully to the alarm leap out of bed at 0450 and rapidly prepare to leave home at 0537! I was on Lindisfarne by 0710. We made our way to the castle for the dawn.
This morning's sunrise was very subtle compared to yesterday's but very beautiful. The sand in the harbour was very wet and I was inclinded to sink as I shot the images.
I like this one because of the S shape made by the chain. It leads the eye to the castle.
We also worked on the north side of Dunstanburgh Castle and at St Mary's Island today. Tomorrow morning I will probably wake at 0500 again I can sleep in!
